Corti (Short Films) is an unpublished project, still in an embryonic phase, that explores memories physically extracted from specific places such as the Orto Botanico di Palermo, the MAAM – Museo dell’Altro e dell’Altrove di Metropoliz in Rome, and the city of Palermo. Fragments of experiences and lived spaces are collected and archived under a layer of transparent adhesive tape, acting like a sort of camera that captures details and nuances, transforming each trace into a filmstrip of reality. The project, much like a sequence of short films, develops through these authentic fragments, organized according to the chronological succession of the artist’s encounters with these places, giving life to a narrative that unfolds over time and space.
