Profili d’Artista – Mostra e Talk a Hoppipolla, Milano
Saturday, March 29, 2025, marked the conclusion of Profili d’Artista, the solo exhibition by Eleonora Gugliotta, hosted at Hoppipolla in the lively NoLo district of Milan. ProFILI d'Artista (Artist Profiles) On the occasion of the finissage, a talk was held with a remarkable turnout, also encouraged by the presentation of the novel Il Ragazzo Rosa by Margherita Di Tolla Cimadomo, which took place as part of the same event.
During the talk, Eleonora Gugliotta presented ProFILI d'Artista (Artist Profiles), a photographic project initiated in 2013 as her graduation thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo. The series gathers interpretive portraits of visual artists, each created through a process of dialogue and personal connection, with the aim of visually expressing the inner identity and creative universe of each subject. The audience showed great interest, listening closely to the stories of the artists portrayed, their shared journeys, and the experiences behind each photograph.
Within this context, the presentation of Margherita Di Tolla Cimadomo’s novel opened up a meaningful parallel conversation. While independent and distinct in their formats, both projects offered insights into the intimate and often hidden aspects of artists' lives, shedding light on their personal paths through different languages—photography and fiction.
